Diaries and memoirs are always written «in the first person»: from a person who witnessed a phenomenon that requires special attention, mention, or just a secluded corner in the rich memory of the author. Hence their lively, colorful language, not ironed out in expressions and thoughts, purely personal, biased assessments and frank judgments. Sometimes only they are able to vividly recreate individual events of the cultural life of our country, tell about complex collisions behind the scenes, about bright personalities, complex characters and difficult fates of actors, directors and writers, about the times and destinies that make up the living history of our great country.
