Themes of ethics in the theater and the artist’s work accompany literally every step of life in the art of the great stage reformer. The work in which Stanislavsky expresses his thoughts about the essence of theatrical creativity, about drama, about the nature of the actor’s well-being, about the director and his place in the theater. Returning again and again to ethical problems, Stanislavsky seeks first of all for himself to realize the inner necessary connection between the ethical and the aesthetic.
