Olga Nikolaevna Gromyko (b. 1978) is a Russian-speaking writer from Belarus, popular among connoisseurs of the genre of humorous fantasy and science fiction. The cycle of works about the adventures of a team of space truckers has long and firmly won the hearts of readers and listeners, and the new book continues to expand and deepen the beloved world.
The collection was composed of several stories and stories, united by one storyline, which, in the end, brings new and old characters together. The DEX company is defeated, but life is so rich in a variety of surprises and full of everyday problems that the heroes, perhaps, will still recall with nostalgia the times when they had to fight a specific and obvious enemy! Cheerful space pilots celebrate the New Year, arrange a mushroom hunt and measure themselves with male beauty and an article. At the Carnaval Orbital Station, preparations are in full swing for the next races. OZK — the Society for the Protection of Cyborgs — is acquiring new personnel and wards … meanwhile, clouds are gradually gathering over it. As it turned out, humanizing cyborgs is only half the battle, it is much more difficult to teach people to be … people. Not everyone is happy with the activities of UGC, especially after the next development of its cybertechnologists, which threatens to turn into a grandiose scandal. And Kira has to make a difficult decision, and the team of the «Cosmic Brain Eater» — to help bring it to life. There is where to laugh at these stories and there is where to cry — however, as always in the books of Olga Gromyko!
