On May 9, 1945, the bloodiest war in human history ended. Twenty-seven million people — such is the price of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. From history textbooks and films, we know about the main battles on the fronts of that war: about the defense of Moscow and the blockade of Leningrad, about the Kursk Bulge and the battle of Stalingrad. But do not forget about those who selflessly worked in the rear, about the exploits of the scouts, the courage of their families. We bow our heads to the heroes of that war, and once again say thank you to them for the fact that only thanks to their valor and heroism, we all live today.
«Seventeen Moments of Spring» — 1945. Berlin. Soviet intelligence officer Maxim Isaev, disguised as SS Standartenfuehrer Stirlitz, works in the political intelligence of Nazi Germany. In February 1945, he received an assignment from the Center to collect information about the negotiations between the Germans and the Allies. The situation is complicated by the fact that the Gestapo is becoming interested in Stirlitz’s activities.
