Sir Charles Baskerville dies under mysterious circumstances at the Baskerville Hall estate near the Grimpen Bog. Rumor has it that the family curse is to blame, through which all members of the famous family have been killed for several centuries. Near the lifeless body of Sir Charles, imprints of huge paws were found, apparently belonging to the same ghostly dog, which, according to legend, is pursuing all the Baskervilles. Sherlock Holmes and his constant companion Dr. Watson have to find out whether supernatural forces are really involved in this incident, or whether the criminal should be sought among people close to Sir Charles.
