No trace left!
Who killed the old woman?
Traveling in the East, Hercule Poirot stopped in Jerusalem. One evening, standing at the open window of his hotel room, he suddenly heard a phrase uttered somewhere off to the side: «You do understand that she needs to be killed, right?» At first, the detective did not attach importance to these words. But very soon he had to remember them when his hotel roommate, a wealthy elderly American woman, who was traveling with her family — her daughter, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren — suddenly died. Poirot learns that during her lifetime, the deceased, formerly a prison guard, was a real family tyrant. The great detective is at a loss as to who killed the old woman. And is it a murder … After all, there are no traces left at all. Meanwhile, Poirot had only a day to solve the riddle …
