English writer Diana Wynn Jones is considered the last great storyteller. The famous animator Hayao Miyazaki made an animated film of the same name based on her bestseller «Howl’s Moving Castle». Each of the worlds she created is amazing and unique!
There are evil witches, and there are good ones, but in this world, the life of both ends in the same way — at the stake. So when, on the eve of Halloween, someone anonymously reports that there is a sorcerer at Larwood House, there is a terrible commotion! As luck would have it, it was this autumn that the pupils of the second «game» — the ugly shy Nan, Brian stuck up by his classmates, the secretive Charles and the clever Nirupam — one after another, show their magical talents.
The police and the Inquisition are about to come to school, trouble is inevitable! However, at the last moment, young sorcerers manage to get hold of an ancient protective spell — «Crestomansi» … But will it work?
